Today was the scion exchange

We picked up some bud wood for plums, peaches, cherimoyas, avocados, figs and grapes.

Then we came home and planted a Stanely Prune we picked up yesterday.

Looking forward to plum jam!

How long will it take to bear fruit?
    Good luck with it!

    Thanks Lauren!
Gemma we are hoping for fruit by next summer (2011).
We should have some peaches this year, some grapes, a few apples, a loquat or two and maybe a few pomegranates too. Along with the berries that we have going.
But next year will be big!
Mangoes, sapotes, cheimoyas, figs, avocados and prunes should all be fruiting on top of a good crop from all of the afore mentioned fruits.
It’s going to be jam central.
