Today instead of going to Avatar…

we went to Exotica Nursery, down in Vista.

While there we picked up a Panache fig tree

and a Cherimoya tree.

(note: these are web images, we got home too late for photos, but ours are smaller and it will be a year before they fruit.)

We are thinking of picking up a Kei Apple from them, but only if our bush in the front fails.

Hey Joy, Sadly my husband will argue that we have 6 other varieties of palm trees, none bear dates, but one has an odd edible fruit. The triangle palm is so perfect though and it sits in front of my breakfast window so it keeps me company. But he wants another fruit tree there could be a loquat might be a black sapote or an avocado. As for the fruit business once we get going we may do farmers markets to recoup the water bill, but it won’t be a “business”.
