The Blue Equinox

Lot’s has been happening!

DSCN3079

Our corn has ripened!

DSCN3080

Given that it’s blue corn (yes, like blue corn chips) we may dry it and try to pop it.

DSCN3061

Speaking of blue…

DSCN3062

This guy sure was a surprise when he swung by, but he only spent the afternoon with us.

DSCN3063

And then there was the blue car getting it’s breaks done, next up will be new tires and an alignment.

Did I mention I drove on the freeway this weekend.

DSCN3074

The Water Hyacinth bloomed with their pretty blue peacock tail like flowers.

DSCN3088

And then there were the blue paddles on our kayak that we have gotten into going out in (again).

DSCN3086

And finally a beautiful blue bloom!

Happy Equinox y’all!

As for me I’m off to try Carly’s Archangel Tarot Spread with my Transparent Tarot deck.

The base was a give away from one of the Recycle OC groups (made of recycled plastic) and the bottle is a recycled water bottle, that being said the are now selling some bases at my local gardening store so they might be in your area too!

    Fantastic!
I enjoyed looking at the work of your hands. I had a Peruvian Torch cactus which flowered for me this year. There appeared three large white, scented flowers which lasted for four days.
    Take good care…

    Yes, but did it fruit?
If it’s the same as ours it gives Peruvian Cactus Apples down here.
As I recall Ebony had one that flowered once back in the day. I may have given it to James.

I, too, enjoyed this peek into your summer. Looks beautiful and peaceful.

I have to ask….if you popped blue corn, would the popcorn be blue? Emma would get a kick out of that.

Jacki, white with a blue tint.
Joy, it’s been quiet around here, so fear not.
