I fell in love with this series…

The author shows kids that they don’t need to be physically strong to beat the odds.

That friendship is important.

And sometimes compromises must be made.

I read this with the kids, it was a realistic look at teen parenting.

This one was a bit younger, and many of our kids had read it, much good it did them!

Puppy picked me this one up for my birthday (I think). It’s set in the Bay Area.

And this, well it’s really not a kids book, but it was good.

Nice look at the Hebrew letters, beautiful book.

Quick jaunt through the jewish holidays, recipes included!

A poets look at the Zohar.

Another Kushner classic.

This was a true love story.

As was this.

You see he knew we were working on the orchard, sooo…

He picked us up an old rototiller!
Yay Santa!

It has been super useful, and will soon return to Craigslist.
Then Santa dropped by Lowes…

Cause we needed to move our compost from the pile to the orchard…

We have super healthy compost…

As evidenced above by the beetle grub that is every composters totem “animal”.
Then Santa headed back to Craigslist to fill my car with goat manure.

Puppy very kindly raked over that which I spread around before another good tilling.

Thank you so much Santa, I’m really looking forward to watching my garden grow!

I thought I better get a couple of posts in before I head out of the door.

Here are a couple of cups from the collection.

The first being a pre-wedding gift.

It seems to be an expresso cup if I look at it in the cold light of day, but a cup none the less.

It’s “big brother” was one I picked up at T J Maxx on a rainy day.

Similar saucers, yet different.

We can all say “thanks” to those serving away from home this holiday.
